The authors offer some initial thoughts on the potential of using video to record Participatory Rural Research (PRR) sessions, highlighting the mediums apparent strengths and weaknesses compared to taking written notes and/or still photographs. They conclude that the use of video should be considered afresh in different contexts so as to determine whether its use is appropriate and desirable.
